Jak w przypadku każdego zabiegu kosmetycznego, aby podjąć się depilacji laserowej trzeba spełniać odpowiednie kryteria. Przeciwwskazaniem do depilacji laserowej są:
- opalona skóra,
- przyjmowanie leków światłouczulających, które mogą powodować nieprawidłowe reakcje skóry na światło słoneczne i światło laserowe (m.in. antybiotyki stosowane do leczenia trądzika czy leki antydepresyjne),
- ciąża,
- nowotwory (przebyte - po konsultacji lekarskiej),
- infekcje wirusowe, bakteryjne, grzybicze w miejscu wykonania zabiegu,
- stosowanie samoopalaczy, bronzerów, betakarotenu doustnie,

Jean Louis David is first and foremost a man who is passionate about the beauty world. At a very young age, he decided to express himself through hairstyling and was met with immediate success. In 1961, he opened his first salon on avenue de Wagram in Paris. This avenue, which is now steeped in history, was where he offered his clients new hairstyles, designed to make every single one of them look fabulous.
His masterstroke? The invention of layers in 1970, revolutionizing not only his trade but also cutting hair with clippers. With his techniques, he personalizes haircuts, adding movement and character to them. A veritable business man, he formed the Jean Louis David group in 1976 and went on to create a franchising system. In 2007, the brand was taken over by the group Provalliance. It had by then made a name for itself in the hairdressing world.
