Lioele is best known for their BB cream. If you haven’t heard of BB creams before now then you’re in for a real treat. BB creams, or blemishes balm creams, is a cream that is great for daily use since BB cream provides a smooth, flawless look without having to use a lot of makeup. The depending on the BB cream that you are interested in they may have the following benefits: brightening your complexion, anti- wrinkle, UV protection and a moisturizer. I haven’t had a chance to cover Lioele’s BB creams before on this blog so I super excited to kick off our coverage on the BB creams.
A Brief History of BB Creams
Blemish Balms have their roots in Germany. In 1967, the BB cream formula was created by Christine Schrammek for dermatologists to use for laser surgery patients. BB creams helped to protect, and heal sensitive skin of the patients while providing coverage for the post-laser scars and acne.
Korea is one of the first countries to commercially produce BB cream for public consumers. BB creams were made popular by Korean celebrities by allowing them to have a smooth, flawless look without using heavy makeup. Due to this endorsement, BB cream became so popular that it has overtaken the South Asia market. Recently, BB creams are becoming a hot trend in Western markets.
