So I waved goodbye to my much-loved facial oil and embarked on a quest to establish a rosacea skincare routine, including the perfect moisturizer. That's where Origins GinZing Energy Boosting Oil-Free Gel Moisturizer comes in—a hybrid of glow-boosting ingredients and super-hydrating technology, that’s both light and oil-free. So, does it hydrate without irritating my skin? I put it to the test to find out.

Caffeine (derived from coffee beans) to refresh and recharge, panax ginseng, a plant used in traditional Chinese medicine to boost the skin’s energy, sunflower seeds, and barley, containing essential lipids, and Hydra-Hug, Origin’s latest hydration technology.

Rendkívül jó vízmegkötő, a bőrön használva képes kivonni a vizet a bőr alsó rétegeiből, növelve ezzel a bőr felszíni rétegében található vízmennyiséget. A túl sok (vagy tömény) glicerin azonban szárító hatású lehet, mivel a bőr felső rétegeiből a víz könnyen elpárolog (transepidermal water loss). Éppen ezért a glicerint (és más vízmegkötő anyagokat is) mindig más lágyító (emolliens) anyagokkal kell kombinálni.
A jojobaolaj észtereinek komplex keveréke, wax szerű anyag. Kiváló bőrpuhító (emollient) és elzáró (occlusive) anyag, különösen ha glicerinnel van kombinálva. A jojoba észterekből jojoba "gyöngyöcskéket" (jojoba beads) is készítenek, melyet bőrradírokban használnak fizikai dörzsölő anyagként.
A pantoténsavnak (B5 vitamin) kémiai szerkezetét tekintve az alkoholhoz hasonló formája, B5 provitamin (a szervezet képes B5 vitaminná alakítani). About My Skin: Oily, but balanced with a consistent routine
A little eye puffiness and dark circles aside, I'm tickled to say that I get constant compliments on my skin. That’s because I work at it: Keeping my skin clear and smooth takes some effort, and I don’t play when it comes to my deep-cleansing facials, at-home face masks, nightly serums, and use of other quality products to keep my skin looking tight, bright, and right.
I have oily skin, so I try to use products that are not too heavy and won't clog my pores, while simultaneously offering enough moisturizing benefits to support and protect my skin as it ages. Between my late nights, early mornings, and constant face wiping to keep the high shine in check, my under-eye area goes through a lot and is in constant need of a little extra TLC. The quest to find the perfect eye cream is constant and ongoing for me.
