When I first opened the Hemp Overnight Mask the first thing I thought was it smells like chillies. It doesn’t have a particularly nice smell. It’s like the smell you get when you are chopping chilli peppers up to make a curry. It felt a bit weird putting something that smelt like chilli peppers on my face, but I found once I’d smoothed a layer onto my skin the scent was far less pungent. It smelt more herbal and didn’t bother me as much.
I left the mask on overnight. Although it absorbs quite well and isn’t sticky you can still feel that there is a layer of product on your skin. In the morning when I washed it off I noticed that the muslin cloth I use to wash my face had a green tinge to it from the Hemp mask that was still on my skin.
I think the mask did a great job of keeping my skin moisturised. The texture of the mask also has a luxurious feel to it. It feels buttery without feeling sticky. I think one pot would last you a long time. If you were using this once a week I think you’d probably get a year’s use out of it. You don’t need much of the mask at all to cover your face. For £18.00 a pot I think that’s a pretty good deal.
After a couple of days of using this I had people commenting that my skin looked nice and I’m sure it was because of this product.

The Body Shop Hemp Hydrating & Protecting Shower Oil Review
I was excited to try this oil since I find most shower gels too drying for me. My skin gets very dry and I find I cannot use soaps on my skin without it feeling stripped and dried out. In the past I have used The Body Shop® shower creams which were less harsh on my skin.
The shower oil comes out as a brown oil but when it mixes with water it lathers up like a foam. It is recommended by The Body Shop® for ultra dry skin and is claimed to protect the skin’s natural moisture barrier. Clinical trials in fact showed that The Body Shop® Hemp Shower Oil increased skin hydration by one third after use.
I found that the smell was similar to the Overnight Mask but less overpowering. The product felt very silky on my skin and didn’t feel at all like a soap or shower gel. It lathered up with water, and I couldn’t feel any sense that my skin had been stripped (something that would happen with shower gels). I also noticed that there was no scent on my skin afterwards. I find with many soaps and shower gels you are left with a slight scent on your skin. This was not the case at all with this product. After getting out of the shower my skin felt moisturised and hydrated.
For anyone with very dry skin who cannot use soaps I highly recommend this product.
