What cosmetic dermatology treatments does Dr. Daniels specialize in?
Dr. Daniels and her team offer a variety of cosmetic treatments including, Botox®, RHA® fillers, acne scar treatment, laser resurfacing, thread lifts, chemical peels, CoolSculpting® and more. Also, Dr. Daniels is a fellowship-trained cosmetic dermatologist and the only cosmetic dermatologist in the area who completed an extra year of specialized training in non-invasive cosmetic surgery. And as one of the only female dermatologists of color in the state, she is especially knowledgeable with treating medical and cosmetic skin issues in patients of color. While completing her cosmetic dermatology/dermatologic surgery fellowship at Skin Care Physicians, Dr. Daniels trained under four of the world’s experts in cosmetic dermatology/dermatological surgery and obtained advanced training in facial rejuvenation with various injectable neurotoxins and fillers, laser surgery, tumescent liposuction, hair transplantation and Mohs Micrographic Surgery. How can I prepare for my dermatology appointment?
Po zabiegu depilacji laserowej
- przez dwa – trzy dni po zabiegu skóra może być nieco obrzęknięta oraz podrażniona,
- bezpośrednio po zabiegu należy zastosować w domu zimne okłady z np. mokrego ręcznika. Ciało można oczywiście być wodą oraz mydłem. W przypadku większego podrażnienia zaleca się skorzystanie z preparatów: Panthenol, Thermacool, Bepanthenn oraz Argosulfan,
- nie należy również korzystać z dezodorantów,
- powinno się unikać opalania przez co najmniej cztery tygodnie od zabiegu oraz używać kosmetyków z filtrem SPF> 30,
- można golić włosy, ale pomiędzy zabiegami depilacji laserowej nie można korzystać z depilacji mechanicznej, chemicznej, a także z woskowania.
Pozostała końcówka mieszka usuwa się w przeciągu kilku lub kilkunastu dni. Następnie, na obszarze na którym przeprowadzony był zabieg, nie powstają żadne włoski. Biorąc pod uwagę indywidualne właściwości każdego pacjenta oraz miejsce, które zostało poddane zabiegowi i kolor włosków okres ten może potrwać do kilkunastu tygodni. Każdy kolejny zabieg depilacji laserowej poprawia swoją skuteczność i trwa dłużej. Seria od pięciu do siedmiu zabiegów niweluje owłosienie aż do 80-90 %, przy czym reszta włosków jest o wiele cieńsza oraz delikatniejsza.
Włoski ciemne, które rosną na jasne skórze najlepiej poddają się zabiegom laserowej depilacji. Niestety, laser nie może zredukować owłosienia w kolorze siwym, rudym oraz bardzo jasnym.
